How to cut a panettone into parts?

If you’re wondering how to cut a panettone into equal parts, the first thing you’ll need is a serrated knife. This is the most commonly used method, because it’s quick and easy, and requires no special skills or product-specific knowledge!
Once you have your knife in hand, remove the protective paper from your panettone, then use the blade to cut the panettone in half. Cut again to obtain 4 equal parts. Repeat the operation in the same way as you would cut a cake, until you have the desired number of slices.

The other main method you can consider if you’re wondering how to cut and serve a panettone is to opt for the horizontal slicing method. In this case, you’ll once again need a serrated knife.
This time, however, the approach is different. Once you’ve removed the protective paper, you’ll be able to cut slices of one to two centimetres thick along the length of your panettone, which you can then serve whole or cut into half-moons.
